... and here's Van Morrison!

Let me introduce you to Van Morrison.  He's a 2012 Hiace Hitop that I purchased at the end of 2020 in preparation for some serious travel within Australia.  COVID had scuppered any plans of exploring overseas so this was Plan B; a van that I could take to most places (although I've discovered he HATES corrugations ... the rear vision mirror fell off the first time we went on a bumpy road!).

Me & Maggie May - happy campers!

I tweaked a few things here and there, took out a cupboard, put another where the microwave used to be, painted him white and got some snazzy curtains made and all of a sudden he didn't look like a tired old rental.  Instead, he was ... VAN MORRISON!

Maggie loves him too!

Comfy!

We've been on a few short trips and I am now preparing for a two month exploration of South Australia and bits of other states.  I can't wait!  Unfortunately, Maggie isn't coming (someone has to work in this family) but I am travelling with two great friends, Phill and Liz, who have a new, wizz-bang off-road camper.

I just have a wizzbanger!

Heading Home ... via Three Countries

I'm homeward bound.  However, in a rather relaxed sort of way since I have done little leapfrogs through Austria, Germany and now France...
